About Bob

Rep. Bob Marshall is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and attorney from Highlands Ranch running for reelection to the Colorado House in November. As a legislator, Bob has been a constant voice for good governance, transparency, and the Rule of Law. He’s a committed advocate for safer communities, strong public schools, the protection of natural resources, and the rights of all Coloradans, and if Bob is reelected, he will continue to fight for his constituents every day in Denver.

In 2022, Bob became the first Democratic representative elected in Douglas County in over 50 years. Now, with the support of the DLCC, he’s ready for another highly competitive race in this must-win district.

Colorado

2026 is a historic opportunity to build Democratic power in Colorado and establish a supermajority in both chambers of the state legislature.

Colorado Democrats won a trifecta in 2018 when they flipped the state Senate blue and have since made impressive strides in improving the state’s quality of life, including legislation to expand access to affordable housing and health care, protect the environment, strengthen public education, and support working families.

This year, Democrats need to gain three seats in the Colorado House and just one in the Senate to establish a supermajority in each chamber. This would allow constitutional amendments to be placed on the ballot without Republican support – a huge step for democracy on issues such as voting rights and reproductive freedom.

The DLCC is all in to support candidates in the most competitive battleground districts in Colorado, candidates where national grassroots support could give them the edge they need to win tough races and expand Democratic power in Colorado.
