About Hadley

Hadley Haas is a community organizer from Pittsburgh running to flip a seat in the Pennsylvania House this fall. From a young age, Hadley’s parents taught her the importance of helping others, and Hadley has lived by this philosophy ever since. If elected, she’ll fight for public education funding and legislation that uplifts working families.

Hadley is returning to the ballot this year after running a strong campaign in 2024 with the support of the DLCC Target Races program. Her strength as a candidate and a more favorable environment in 2026 make this district one of Democrat’s best pickup opportunities in the state.

Pennsylvania

2026 is a historic opportunity to build power in Pennsylvania by defending our House majority and picking up seats in the Senate.

In 2022, Democrats made gains in the Pennsylvania Senate and flipped the House for the first time in over a decade. The momentum from those wins continued to build through 2025 with a string of special election victories defending a narrow blue majority in the state House, and an astounding upset win in the state Senate that saw Democrats flip a district that supported Trump by a double-digit margin in the 2024 presidential election.

The DLCC has been on the ground in Pennsylvania cycle after cycle to support state Democrats as we build power in both chambers of the General Assembly.

Pennsylvania remains a true battleground in 2026, and the DLCC and our allies are pulling out all the stops to win competitive races and elect Democrats in the Keystone State.
