About Eileen

Eileen Hartnett Albillar is a proven problem-solver with more than 25 years of experience across social work, government, and nonprofit leadership, running to flip a seat in the Pennsylvania Senate in November. Eileen has dedicated her career to giving back to her community, spending years helping people get back on their feet, pull themselves out of poverty, and navigate the high cost of living. Eileen is running for the state Senate to lead the fight to lower costs, grow the local economy, and fully fund public schools.

Eileen’s district saw one of the closest legislative elections in the state in 2018, with less than 80 votes deciding the winner. Eileen’s race, in the perennial battleground of Bucks County, PA, would be a key victory, putting Democrats in a much stronger position in the Pennsylvania Senate.

Pennsylvania

2026 is a historic opportunity to build power in Pennsylvania by defending our House majority and picking up Senate seats in this key battleground state. After several cycles of hard-fought gains, DLCC is committed to winning and defending Democratic power in Pennsylvania.

Our work this year begins with defending and expanding our majority in the Pennsylvania House, which the DLCC and state Democrats flipped in 2022 and have defended ever since..

We’re also working to gain ground in the Senate, where half of the seats are on the ballot this year. With the legislature under split control, the Pennsylvania Senate GOP majority has rubber-stamped Trump’s disastrous agenda and blocked Democrats from advancing solutions for working families at every opportunity.
