Dumont Walker is a community leader from the greater Atlanta area running in November to flip Georgia House District 46 blue. Dumont believes that the people closest to problems are the ones closest to their solutions. He understands what it will take to uplift Georgia’s working families, and Dumont is ready to fight for them in the state legislature. From expanding access to affordable health care to improving teacher pay to making housing attainable for working Georgians, Dumont’s platform is built on the principle that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Georgia has seen two decades of GOP control, but continued efforts from the DLCC and Georgia Democrats have led to victories in both chambers of the Georgia legislature, steadily chipping away at the state’s red majorities.

Over the last several cycles, the DLCC has helped Georgia Democrats make gains in both chambers of the legislature, including 20 seats in the state House since Trump’s first election.
