About Mark
Mark Pinsley is a U.S. Army Reserve veteran, small business owner, and Lehigh County Controller running to flip a seat in the Pennsylvania Senate in November. Mark uses his financial expertise to serve his community and ensure fiscal accountability in Lehigh County. Now he’s ready to stand up for all Pennsylvanians, and, if he is elected to the state Senate, he’ll use every possible opportunity to champion working families.Â
District 16 is shaping up to be one of the toughest, most competitive races in the state in 2026, but Mark is ready for the challenge. With near-split control of the Pennsylvania Senate, it’s critical that we rally behind strong candidates like Mark who are challenging Republican incumbents to build Democratic power in the chamber.
Pennsylvania
2026 is a historic opportunity to build power in Pennsylvania by defending our House majority and picking up seats in the Senate.
In 2022, Democrats made gains in the Pennsylvania Senate and flipped the House for the first time in over a decade. The momentum from those wins continued to build through 2025 with a string of special election victories defending a narrow blue majority in the state House, and an astounding upset win in the state Senate that saw Democrats flip a district that supported Trump by a double-digit margin in the 2024 presidential election.Â
The DLCC has been on the ground in Pennsylvania cycle after cycle to support state Democrats as we build power in both chambers of the General Assembly.
Pennsylvania remains a true battleground in 2026, and the DLCC and our allies are pulling out all the stops to win competitive races and elect Democrats in the Keystone State.
