Scott Landry

Scott Landry is a former state representative from Farmington running this fall to protect a seat in the Maine House. In previous terms as a legislator, Scott served on committees focused on wildlife, agriculture, health care, insurance, and marine resources. Scott is passionate about giving his fellow Mainers a steady, practical voice in Augusta, and if elected, he will work to improve public education, support seniors, ensure access to health care, and lower the cost of living for working families.

In 2024, the race to represent District 75 was decided by just 7 votes. This year could be just as close, and Scott is ready to capitalize on support from the DLCC to defend this seat and help Democrats gain ground in the Maine House.

2026 is a historic opportunity to protect and expand the Democratic majorities in the Maine House and Senate.

Democrats have held a majority in the Maine Senate since 2018 and in the House since 2012. Despite a tough year for Democrats nationwide in 2024, the DLCC’s work in Maine helped ensure the state legislature stayed blue. Since then, Democrats have built momentum with special election wins and impressive candidate recruitment across the state, and this November, we aren’t taking a single hard-won district for granted as we approach the tightly contested midterms.
