About Dani

Rep. Dani O’Halloran is a realtor and city councilor from Brewer running for reelection to the Maine House this fall. Dani’s public service is rooted in her deep commitment to her community. As a mom of two daughters, she always keeps her lens focused on leaving a better world for the next generation of Mainers. In the legislature, Dani strives to create economic opportunities to set hard-working families up for success.

Dani was elected in 2024 by a margin of less than 150 votes. Maine Democrats hold a narrow majority in the state House, and defending highly competitive seats like Dani’s is the only way to keep the chamber blue.

Maine

2026 is a historic opportunity to protect and expand the Democratic majorities in the Maine House and Senate.

Democrats have held a majority in the Maine Senate since 2018 and in the House since 2012, when the DLCC helped gain 15 seats to flip the chamber. Despite a tough year for Democrats nationwide in 2024, our work in Maine helped ensure the state legislature stayed blue. Since then, Democrats have built momentum with a pair of impressive special election wins, and this November, we aren’t taking a single hard-won district for granted as we approach a tightly contested midterm.

The DLCC has been on the ground in Maine cycle after cycle, supporting state Democrats as we work to defend and expand our majorities in both chambers of the legislature.

We cannot take our Democratic majorities in Maine for granted, and 2026 is a critical year to win competitive races and ensure the state stays on a path of progress for years to come.
