About Anna

Anna Rink is a health care professional running this fall to flip a seat in the Michigan House. Anna spent 17 years providing health care with Planned Parenthood Marquette Health Center before Republican funding cuts forced it to close its doors in 2025. She sees the needs of her community and is running for the state House to ensure her community and others like it have a voice in Lansing. If she is elected, Anna will be a dedicated champion for access to health care, quality public education, good union jobs, and a lower cost of living for working families.

Anna is mounting a strong campaign in one of the most competitive districts in the state. With the DLCC’s backing, she’s well-positioned to flip this seat and help Democrats build a majority in the Michigan House.

Michigan

Michigan is one of the most critical battlegrounds in the country.

In 2022, Michigan Democrats flipped both chambers of the state legislature for the first time in over a decade, delivering a Democratic trifecta and passing historic legislation that improved the lives of working families across the state.

In 2024, Republicans narrowly retook the Michigan House — but with Democrats remaining as the majority in the state Senate, the path to a trifecta is within reach in 2026.

With a one-seat Democratic majority in the Senate and a clear path to reclaim the House, strategic investment in these races will determine whether Democrats can restore full control and continue delivering results for Michiganders.
