About Angela

Rep. Angela Witwer is a small business owner, former school board member, and former health care leader from Delta Township running for reelection to the Michigan House. Angela has spent the past eight years fighting for her community in the Michigan House, where she has worked to support seniors, first responders, and working families. If reelected, Angela will continue to work for a fair tax system, advocate for local agriculture, and help improve access to quality education and health care.

With a gain of only four seats needed to establish a Democratic majority in the Michigan House, Angela is running a strong campaign with the DLCC’s support to help ensure Republicans don’t gain an inch of ground in 2026.

Michigan

Michigan is one of the most critical battlegrounds in the country.

In 2022, Michigan Democrats flipped both chambers of the state legislature for the first time in over a decade, delivering a Democratic trifecta and passing historic legislation that improved the lives of working families across the state.

In 2024, Republicans narrowly retook the Michigan House — but with Democrats remaining as the majority in the state Senate, the path to a trifecta is within reach in 2026.

With a one-seat Democratic majority in the Senate and a clear path to reclaim the House, strategic investment in these races will determine whether Democrats can restore full control and continue delivering results for Michiganders.
