Carol Glanville

Rep. Carol Glanville is an educator, current state representative, and lifelong Michigander running to flip a seat in the Michigan Senate in November. Carol was raised in a union household and has built a reputation as a fierce advocate for working families. Carol flipped her state House district in 2022 and has since secured millions in funding to support schools, fire stations, community centers, and programs like Meals on Wheels, while championing policies that lower the cost of living by eliminating the retirement tax, expanding the working families tax credit, and establishing universal Pre-K.

In 2022, Senate District 30 elected a Republican by less than 400 votes. Carol’s race this year is just as competitive, and with the DLCC’s support, she has an excellent chance to flip this seat and help Democrats widen their majority in the Michigan Senate.
