2026 is a historic opportunity to break the GOP supermajority in the Indiana House. Democrats need to gain 4 House seats to break the GOP supermajority – and the caucus has hit record candidate recruiting milestones as a result of lasting Democratic momentum on the ground.

Indiana’s GOP supermajority has supported Republicans’ disastrous Medicaid cuts that are threatening the state’s hospitals and pushing health care out of reach for families. With multiple Trump-backed candidates on the ballot, preventing another session with extreme Republicans in power is essential to protecting Indiana families in 2026.
