About Jim

Rep. Jim Haddock is a dedicated public servant from Pittston Township running for reelection to the Pennsylvania House this November. During his time in Harrisburg, Jim has pushed to increase funding for public schools, advocated for workers’ right to unionize, and fought to lower the cost of living. If he’s reelected, Jim is committed to keeping up the fight to uplift all Pennsylvanians.

Jim first won election in 2022, running two successful campaigns with the support of the DLCC’s Target Races program. This year, Jim’s race is again a must-win to ensure Democrats retain and expand their majority in the Pennsylvania House.

Pennsylvania

2026 is a historic opportunity to build power in Pennsylvania by defending our House majority and picking up seats in the Senate.

In 2022, Democrats made gains in the Pennsylvania Senate and flipped the House for the first time in over a decade. The momentum from those wins continued to build through 2025 with a string of special election victories defending a narrow blue majority in the state House, and an astounding upset win in the state Senate that saw Democrats flip a district that supported Trump by a double-digit margin in the 2024 presidential election.

The DLCC has been on the ground in Pennsylvania cycle after cycle to support state Democrats as we build power in both chambers of the General Assembly.

Pennsylvania remains a true battleground in 2026, and the DLCC and our allies are pulling out all the stops to win competitive races and elect Democrats in the Keystone State.
