About Brittney

Asm. Brittney Miller is a middle school teacher from Clark County running for reelection to the Nevada Assembly this fall. Brittney is a results-driven leader with an extensive background in both the public and private sectors, and today she works to equip students with the skills they need to thrive in the world. As a legislator, Brittney is a champion for education, and if she is reelected, she will continue to fight to improve Nevada’s public schools and lift up working families with sensible economic policies.

Brittney flipped her district in 2016 and has defended it in every election since. This year, she’s mounting another strong campaign with the support of the DLCC to protect her seat once again and help Democrats build a supermajority in the Nevada Assembly.

Nevada

2026 is a historic opportunity to build Democratic power in Nevada and establish a blue supermajority in the state Assembly.

Since flipping both chambers of the Nevada legislature in 2016, Democratic leadership has brought sweeping progress to the state, including universal free school meals for students, minimum wage increases, and civil rights protections for women and LGBTQ+ Nevadans.

The DLCC has been on the ground in Nevada cycle after cycle, supporting candidates in the most competitive races to protect Democratic majorities in the state Senate and Assembly.

This year, Democrats in the Nevada Assembly need to gain just one seat to secure a supermajority, bringing them closer to passing key legislation even if a Republican governor attempts to veto it.

With so much work still needed to ensure a bright future for the state, we can’t afford to lose an inch of ground to Republican extremism in Nevada.
