Battleground State
After half a decade of GOP control, 2026 is a historic opportunity to flip the New Hampshire legislature from red to blue.
Over the last several cycles, DLCC has helped New Hampshire Democrats win key races and keep the legislative majorities within striking distance. In 2022, the House majority was decided by just 11 votes. With a favorable environment, 2026 can be the year that puts us over the edge and secure new majorities in the Granite State.
The GOP majorities in both chambers in New Hampshire have grown increasingly out of step with voters and rubber-stamped Trump’s disastrous agenda – the stakes couldn’t be higher to capitalize on the historic opportunity to flip control of both chambers for the first time since 2018.Â
The DLCC will be targeting competitive races across the state and sharing more info on DLCC Target Races in New Hampshire soon.
