New Hampshire is a top DLCC Battleground State in 2026.

After half a decade of GOP control, 2026 is a historic opportunity to flip the New Hampshire General Court from red to blue.

Over the last several cycles, DLCC has helped New Hampshire Democrats win key races and keep the legislative majorities within striking distance. In 2022, the House majority was decided by just 11 votes. With a favorable environment, 2026 can be the year that puts us over the edge and allows us to secure new blue majorities in the Granite State.

The GOP majorities in both chambers in New Hampshire have grown increasingly out of step with voters and rubber-stamped Trump’s disastrous agenda – the stakes couldn’t be higher to capitalize on the historic opportunity to flip control of both chambers for the first time since 2020. 

Meet the DLCC’s New Hampshire Target Race Candidates

The DLCC is targeting 21 candidates across the Granite State who can flip GOP seats and return the General Court to a Democratic majority for the first time this decade. 

Flipping the New Hampshire House and Senate is critical to congressional redistricting, especially if a potential incoming GOP governor is willing to bow to Trump and pursue a power-grabbing scheme to rig the maps ahead of 2030.
