We have an off-year opportunity to build power in Louisiana.

Republicans currently control the Louisiana legislature, but that hasn’t stopped state Democrats from fighting for their communities. As the campaign arm for more than 3,000 state legislators and thousands of candidates across all 50 states, the DLCC is providing the roadmap for building Democratic power across red, blue, and purple states in 2026 and beyond, including in Louisiana – and we have an opportunity to do just that in an off-year special election

The DLCC is targeting HD-92 in the NOLA metro area to chip away at the GOP’s reckless House majority that has turned their backs on Louisiana families. Former three-term Kenner City Councilman Gregory Carroll is running to restore common sense to the Louisiana legislature and fight for our rights amidst the Trump administration’s attack on the states.
