Jim Haadsma

Jim Haadsma is an attorney and former state Representative running for the Michigan House to flip his Battle Creek district blue. Throughout his career, Jim has focused on labor relations and disability justice, spending nearly four decades fighting to ensure that working families are treated fairly. He brought this same mindset to the legislature, where he led the way on legislation to uplift all Michiganders.

Jim flipped his district as a DLCC Target Race candidate in 2022 and came within less than 70 votes of reelection in a tough 2024 environment thanks to an impressive campaign. Now he has a strong chance to retake this seat for Michigan House Democrats and help retake the majority.
