About Chris
Judge Chris Taylor serves on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and is running for the Wisconsin Supreme Court this April. Chris is a former Wisconsin State Assemblymember who has dedicated her career to protecting the rights of all people. If elected, Chris will bring that same dedication to Wisconsin’s highest court and strengthen the pro-freedom, pro-democracy majority.
It’s critical that Judge Taylor wins the latest open seat on this court and the DLCC will be working with partners and allies on the ground to secure a win in this important race.

The balance of the Wisconsin Supreme Court has seen a dramatic shift over the past several years. After 15 years of a conservative majority, several high-stakes elections have reset the balance of power on the state’s highest court.
Following massive victories in both 2023 and 2025, the court now has a liberal majority that is working to uphold the state’s laws in a fair and impartial way. In 2026, another court election gives us an opportunity to flip a seat and further secure the majority through at least 2030.
