Steve Doyle

Rep. Steve Doyle is an attorney and former educator from La Crosse who won reelection to the Wisconsin Assembly in 2026. As a legislator, Steve is dedicated to using his position to expand economic opportunities for Wisconsinites, achieving this goal through bipartisanship and listening to his constituents. After over a decade of Republican gerrymandered control, Democrats FLIPPED both the Wisconsin Assembly and Senate from red to blue.

The DLCC has supported Wisconsin state Democrats cycle after cycle, helping them make significant gains in recent years despite aggressive GOP gerrymandering. In 2024, the Wisconsin Supreme Court threw out Republicans’ unfair voting maps, making Wisconsin one of the most competitive states in the nation for state legislative elections.

In 2026, Wisconsin Democrats gained 8 seats in the state Assembly and 3 in the state Senate. With Gov.-Elect David Crowley’s victory, Democrats have established a new trifecta, protecting millions of Wisconsinites from MAGA extremism.
