Darci Smith is a realtor and professional development mentor from the northwest Minneapolis suburbs running to flip a seat in the Minnesota House in November. Darci’s career has been defined by her ability to organize complex systems while uniting and inspiring diverse groups to achieve common goals. As a legislator, Darci will use her experience to fight to ensure funding for public education, help reduce the cost of health care, and protect Minnesota’s natural resources.

This year’s election to represent District 37A will be one of the most competitive in the state. Darci is mounting a strong campaign with the DLCC’s support to flip this seat and help Democrats win a majority in the Minnesota House.

On the heels of six majority-deciding special elections this cycle, Democrats have momentum on their side, announcing that the DFL has reached a fundraising record and full candidate recruitment for the first time ever.

Minnesota is poised for historic progress this year, but Republicans are desperate to sell out their constituents to advance Trump’s self-serving agenda.
