Jason Heaser

Jason Heaser is a prosecutor and U.S. Army veteran from the Twin Cities area running to flip a Minnesota House seat this fall. After leaving active duty as an Army Judge Advocate, Jason joined the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office as a criminal prosecutor, and in 2023, moved to the Attorney General’s Office as a felony prosecutor. Jason is passionate about public safety, and as a legislator, he will work to strengthen Minnesota communities by supporting public schools, protecting natural resources, expanding access to mental health resources, and bolstering online safety protections for children.

Jason’s election is one of the best opportunities for a red-to-blue flip this year, and with just one seat needed to establish a Democratic majority in the Minnesota House, the DLCC is putting its support behind his race.
