Sen. Aric Putnam, a communications professor from St. Cloud, is running to defend his seat in the Minnesota Senate in November. Aric became an educator because of the impact great teachers had on his life. He wants to ensure the next generation gets the same kinds of inspiration and opportunities he had, and he sees quality schools and thriving communities as the foundation for that vision. As a state Senator, Aric has championed working families, lower health care costs, public safety initiatives, and funding strong public schools.
