BREAKING: State Democrats Deliver Stunning Flip in Trump +18 District in Pennsylvania, Setting the Tone for the Midterms

With the midterms now less than 80 days away, the DLCC is ramping up the final push to challenge and flip hundreds of districts on the November ballot.

WASHINGTON — Pennsylvania State House candidate Brandon Dukes just defied the odds and clinched the latest state legislative seat flip for Democrats in the final state legislative special election before November. Trump won this district by 18 points in the last election and tonight’s victory is the latest proof point of the momentum and the opportunity for Democrats in state legislatures across the country in the upcoming midterm election.

In total, the DLCC’s national strategy has now flipped 31 legislative seats since Trump’s election, including districts across red, blue and battleground territory. Meanwhile, Republicans have flipped zero. The momentum is undeniable as the DLCC enters the final stretch to capitalize on our Target Map and the opportunity to deliver the biggest gains for statehouse Democrats in two decades.
