Shanna Cox is a small business owner from Lewiston running to protect a Democratic-held seat in the Maine Senate in November. Shanna understands the struggles Maine’s working families face firsthand, having faced tough decisions of her own while raising a family and building a career. She previously served as President and CEO of a business-serving association, where she helped small businesses navigate the pandemic, supported economic recovery, and advocated for practical solutions that reflected real-world conditions. Now, she’s ready to put her experience and steady leadership to work in Augusta.

With her district’s Democratic incumbent retiring from the state Senate this year, Shanna, with the support of the DLCC, is stepping up to win this highly competitive race and ensure Democrats don’t lose an inch of ground in the Maine Senate this fall.
