Dan Gosa

Rep. Dan Gosa is a dedicated public servant and union leader from Davenport running for reelection to the Iowa House in November. Dan served as President of the Davenport Community School District Board, and, as the father of school-aged children, he understands firsthand the importance of strong public schools and opportunities for every family. Throughout his career and personal life, Dan has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to working families, quality public education, and strengthening local communities, and if he is reelected, he’ll continue serving as a strong voice for hardworking Iowans.

These victories not only broke the Republican supermajority in the Iowa Senate but also proved that, with early investment, Democrats can win even in the toughest terrain.

In 2026, defending these hard-won Senate seats and making targeted gains in the state House will be critical to stopping Republican overreach and restoring balance in the legislature.
