Tim Hayes

Tim Hayes is a Pennsylvania Army National Guard veteran, an environmental policy expert, and Dublin Borough Council President running to flip a seat in the Pennsylvania House in November. Tim enlisted in the National Guard at age 17 and was elected to the Borough Council at 21, making him the youngest elected official in Bucks County at the time. Tim is on the ballot to fight for public school funding, lower the cost of living, and to stand up for Pennsylvania’s working families.

Tim is ready to take back this seat for Democrats with the support of the DLCC’s Target Races program and help expand the blue majority in the Pennsylvania House.

2026 is a historic opportunity to build power in Pennsylvania by defending our House majority and picking up seats in the Senate.

In 2022, Democrats made gains in the Pennsylvania Senate and flipped the House for the first time in over a decade. The momentum from those wins continued to build through 2025 with a string of special election victories defending a narrow blue majority in the state House, and an astounding upset win in the state Senate that saw Democrats flip a district that supported Trump by a double-digit margin in the 2024 presidential election. 

The DLCC has been on the ground in Pennsylvania cycle after cycle to support state Democrats as we build power in both chambers of the General Assembly.

Pennsylvania remains a true battleground in 2026, and the DLCC and our allies are pulling out all the stops to win competitive races and elect Democrats in the Keystone State.
