About Brian
Brian Wrightson is a lifelong Northeastern Pennsylvanian, small business owner, and public servant running this fall to flip a seat in the Pennsylvania Senate. Brian has experience in emergency management, broadband infrastructure, and economic development. Through his work expanding rural high-speed internet access and modernizing communications systems, Brian has helped connect families, small businesses, and first responders across his region while bringing opportunity to communities too often left behind.
Decades of Republican mismanagement in the Pennsylvania Senate have taken their toll on Brian’s district. Now, Brian and his community are ready for change in Harrisburg. He’s stepping up to ensure they receive fair representation and help Democrats expand their power in the Pennsylvania Senate.
Pennsylvania
2026 is a historic opportunity to build power in Pennsylvania by defending our House majority and picking up seats in the Senate.
In 2022, Democrats made gains in the Pennsylvania Senate and flipped the House for the first time in over a decade. The momentum from those wins continued to build through 2025 with a string of special election victories defending a narrow blue majority in the state House, and an astounding upset win in the state Senate that saw Democrats flip a district that supported Trump by a double-digit margin in the 2024 presidential election.Â
The DLCC has been on the ground in Pennsylvania cycle after cycle to support state Democrats as we build power in both chambers of the General Assembly.
Pennsylvania remains a true battleground in 2026, and the DLCC and our allies are pulling out all the stops to win competitive races and elect Democrats in the Keystone State.
