Elizabeth Moro

Elizabeth Moro is a community leader from Chadds Ford running this fall to flip a seat in the Pennsylvania House. Growing up in a large family helped Elizabeth learn that tough problems are solved through hard work and cooperation, and despite our differences,  folks on both sides of the political aisle share the same basic needs. If elected, Elizabeth is committed to championing policies that improve the lives of all Pennsylvanians.

In 2024, Elizabeth ran a strong campaign with the support of the DLCC’s Target Races program, coming just short of victory. Now, with an experienced candidate in a stronger environment, this seat is primed to flip and help Democrats defend and expand their majority in the Pennsylvania House.

2026 is a historic opportunity to build power in Pennsylvania by defending our House majority and picking up seats in the Senate.

In 2022, Democrats made gains in the Pennsylvania Senate and flipped the House for the first time in over a decade. The momentum from those wins continued to build through 2025 with a string of special election victories defending a narrow blue majority in the state House, and an astounding upset win in the state Senate that saw Democrats flip a district that supported Trump by a double-digit margin in the 2024 presidential election. 

The DLCC has been on the ground in Pennsylvania cycle after cycle to support state Democrats as we build power in both chambers of the General Assembly.

Pennsylvania remains a true battleground in 2026, and the DLCC and our allies are pulling out all the stops to win competitive races and elect Democrats in the Keystone State.
