Delaware

Senate: Democratic Supermajority

15D
6R

House: Democratic Majority

27D
14R

Delaware is on the DLCC’s 2026 Target Map.

Democrats have a strong record of leadership with strong majorities in both chambers that have delivered for the people of the state over and over again. 2026 is a historic opportunity to build a Democratic supermajority in the Delaware House. Democrats need to gain just one House seat to build a supermajority.

Democrats are leading the fight for progress in Delaware, working to improve the lives of their constituents and protect against a reckless Republican playbook. Democrats in the state legislature have passed legislation to  raise the minimum wage and expanded the free school breakfast program to all students.

The DLCC is continuing to work with Delaware state Democrats to ensure Democrats maintain their strong majorities in the state and can continue to lead on behalf of their communities.
