The Work to Build Power in Arkansas Continues.

Republicans currently control the Arkansas Legislature but that hasn’t stopped Democrats from showing up and providing the leadership that voters crave. The DLCC is providing the roadmap for building Democratic momentum across red, blue, and purple states in 2026 and beyond, including in Arkansas 

In March 2026, DLCC Target Race candidate Alex Holladay flipped an Arkansas House seat by double digits, securing state Democrats’ 27th flip of the cycle. As the national committee leading the strategy for state legislatures, the DLCC is continuing to look for opportunities to pick up ground in Arkansas.
