DLCC Hires Senior Political Adviser

 

 

WASHINGTON — Today Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) Executive Director Jessica Post announced the DLCC is promoting Chuck Quintero to a new role as the Senior Political Adviser for the organization.

 

“We are excited for Chuck Quintero to step into this role to help bolster our work with our DLCC partners and allies to align our shared priorities of working together to elect more Democrats to state legislatures,” said Post. “We are confident that Chuck will be a valuable asset to our leadership team, providing unmatched expertise that will allow us to continue our success in the 2018 midterms and into 2020 redistricting.”

 

Quintero has nearly 20 years of experience working in national and state politics, from the White House to statehouses in Maine and New Jersey. Most recently, he served as a Regional Political Director at the DLCC, where he used his expertise to build relationships, provide strategic support, and direct resources to state leaders and campaigns. In 2014, he led the largest field effort in Maine’s history. Previous work experience also includes tenures with the Department of Energy and the Obama administration.

 

The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee is the only organization exclusively committed to electing Democrats to state legislatures all over the country and winning Democratic control of chambers. For over two decades, the DLCC has been working with state legislative leaders to invest strategically in state programs, which has led to Democrats flipping 34 contested seats since Trump’s inauguration.
