Target Race Launch: DLCC Announces Slate of Targets in Washington

2026 is a historic opportunity to build our Democratic majority in the Washington House

WASHINGTON—Today, the DLCC announced ten Target Races in the Washington House to grow our Democratic majority. Since winning a trifecta in 2018, Democrats have used their power to lower costs for renters, help Washingtonians pay off medical debt, and enhance gun safety. Strengthening our majorities in blue states like Washington allows Democrats to go on offense against the chaos and cruelty of the Trump administration.

The DLCC is working directly with the Washington House Democratic Caucus to deliver support and resources for data, research, and direct voter contact. 2026 is a historic opportunity to shift the balance of power across the country and secure governing power in our Democratic strongholds like Washington. With less than 60 days until Election Day, the DLCC has the Target Map and strategy to meet this moment.
