Representative Jennifer Konfrst is a tireless advocate for Iowans – and against GOP extremism – in the state legislature. She flipped an Iowa House seat blue in 2018 and was the first woman to be elected Democratic leader of the chamber in just her second term. Throughout her time in office, she has listened to her constituents about the issues that matter most to them and has been a strong champion for public education, health care, workers’ rights, affordable housing, and finding ways to support families.

Representative Konfrst was first elected to the DLCC Board in 2024.
