BREAKING: DLCC Wins Nevada Assembly Supermajority, Secures New Trifecta

Nevada’s new trifecta strengthens the blue firewall in the states 

WASHINGTON — In a decisive victory, Nevada Democrats flipped enough seats to establish a new supermajority in the Assembly. With Aaron Ford’s election as governor, these legislative wins have helped create a new Democratic trifecta that will be crucial in the coming years as Democrats continue to fight for their communities and stand up as a firewall against the chaos of the Trump administration.

The DLCC has worked in Nevada cycle after cycle to build durable Democratic power in the legislature that is able to stand strong regardless of the national political environment. This type of durable Democratic strength is critical when it comes to building power from the ground up and protecting our democracy in 2027, 2028, and the years to come.
