Serving for over a decade in the Oklahoma Legislature, House Democratic Leader Cyndi Munson knows what it takes to fight for her constituents and make progress for the people in a red chamber. She made history when she flipped her seat blue in 2015 – becoming the first Asian-American to serve in the state legislature – before being elected Democratic leader of the chamber in 2022. While in office, she has been an advocate for women’s rights, veterans, and strong public schools.
Leader Munson was first elected to the DLCC Board in 2023.
