DLCC and state Democrats are making sweeping gains in statehouses all across the country as part of a historic night for Democrats nationwide.

With results still coming in, Democrats are likely to land in their strongest position in the states since the 2010 Red Wave. This is a massive shift with implications for all levels of the ballot as state legislatures shape the power of governors, draw maps for Congress, and protect the path to the presidency.

These wins will have some of the longest-lasting implications of this election for Democrats to continue building power in 2027, 2028, and beyond.
